Daeran build wotr.

Sosiel sucks, so you'll live without him. Without Daeran, it'll be harder without a dedicated healer that can instant heal. Played 3 of 5 times with Sosiel and was totally satisfied with his abilites. If you mean his personality, well tastes are different. And you have to invest heavily in his romance until he finaly starts sucking....

So I didn't look too much into the companions for WotR before the game came out, and made my PC for my first play through a Divine Herbalist Oracle. I recruited Daeran and REALLY love his character, but he unfortunately fills almost exactly the same niche as my PC. While I could respec myself, I've grown attached to my current build.

The build on this page is largely focused on min maxing (i.e. getting the absolute most combat and mechanics value out of the character so it can be viable for Hard or Unfair difficulty). Combined with the Ring of the Salamander, this gives Daeran an edge over other blasters in your party for very little resource investment. Note that you can get two Rings of the Salamander if you want Ember to blast as well. As a 6th level spell, Daeran gets Hellfire Ray from the ring which is a very potent ray attack. Selective channeling is really helpful. That will allow Daeran to heal the living while you and Staunton heal the dead. I play chaotic characters, so killing Liotr isn't *such* a big deal, but I still don't want to. He doesn't deserve death. Without him, Daeran would still be possessed after all, but I also don't want to kill Daeran or have him locked up in an asylum (might as well kill him in that case).00:00 - Intro01:20 - First character lvls02:10 - Low lvl combat showcase03:15 - Full character lvls06:40 - Mythic lvls09:45 - Spells12:09 - Equipment15:34 - ... She's also great at the most important skills (Perception / Trickery). Seelah can be built as pure Paladin or Paladin/Monk.Sosiel is a much better buffer. Daeran's spontaneous casting as well as his revelations make him an incredible healer. However his spontaneous casting means he's also not nearly as versatile when it comes to buffs. I've seen posts here and there that Daeran is pretty good but not how to actually build him, and there are tens of guides all saying different things so I cant trust those. I would say the most important things are to keep in mind that he's kind of a buff/healbot as built and maximize that. He can even use his heals to pseudo buff later, I'm ...The only real healer in WOTR are Daeran and Sosiel. Daeran is an oracle, a class that I still can't understand the difference between that and a cleric. Sosiel seems to be a traditional cleric, so I assume he is more of a heal bot and a buffer. Personality-wise, Sosiel seems like your typical goody two shoes while Daeran has that aristocratic ...Sosiel is a snorefest with no personality and chad Daeran is the one of the best characters in the game. Daeran has all the cleric buffs you will need and he's a spontaneous caster. Don't build him with DDisplay, use him as a health dispenser and to spam hellrays/destruction/fire storm. For WotR, I expect that a dedicated cleric will be a useful convenience, but far from a necessity. General consensus is that using healing spell is basically wasted action economy. You can respec companion but they are locked into feats /class level they had when you meet them. I suggest using a mod to edit them.Daeran competes for his place in the squad with Solseil, Ember competes for hers with Nenio. #1. Orion Invictus Aug 28, 2022 @ 10:06am. Daeran is a healer/buffer. Ember, on the other hand, is a great Bard. Witch casting is pretty mediocre. Pick up whatever Hexes you want to use, and however much Bard Song you want. Seelah is the other choice. Camellia is way too valuable to switch her to Bard. a delegateraskrasil I do the character builds primarily on what I think suits them best lore-wise, but still making sure it's effective too. For Seelah, I honestly see no reason not to do full Paladin. Lore-wise, that is what she is as an iconic. WOTR as a campaign also is perfectly tailored to Paladin, and base Paladin is super effective. cedar bluff state park map The easy choice is either between Daeran and Sosiel, and I personally would rather have Daeran with the party, but I find that as soon as my oracle reaches the first rank of angel, I flat outclass Daeran in everything except channeling heals.
